About Us

Federation of Electrical Entrepreneurs of Nepal (FEEN) is the nationally recognized umbrella organization of all electrical entrepreneurs and represents the interests of the Electrical /electronic goods manufacturers and traders involved in promotion of socio economic development of Nepal through their business.

Whereas it is expedient to do the protection and promotion of the professional interests rights by organizing all concerned people related to all industry-entrepreneurs and profession of the electrical area of Nepal through the city, district, regional and associate membership making uniformity including in the interests of the consumers and market prices for the protection of rights interests of this class maintaining mutual co-ordination and assistance among the entrepreneurs & traders, professionals involved in the production, manufacturing and sale of the electrical goods and business related to the electrical and electronic sector which has a great role in the all-round development of the modern Nepal and to provide assistance in its development. Therefore, Nepal Electrical Association incorporated in 2047 B.S. (1990 AD) by the 19th Annual General Meeting of the Association has been renamed as the “Federation of Electrical Entrepreneur of Nepal” in its changed form.

It is a non-profit-making, non-governmental organization registered at District Administration Office, Babarmahal, Kathmandu with Registration No. 236/2067/068 as an autonomous association; it has been registered at Tax Revenues Office with PAN No. 301813307.

Vision and Goal of FEEN

"Unity is the best policy for Entrepreneurs Prosperity".
The primary goal of Federation of Electrical Entrepreneurs of Nepal (FEEN) is to encourage positive competition and competent management, secure domestic and foreign investment, and create employment opportunities in Nepal’s Electric and Electrical industrial and corporate house sector.
Existing Acts and Regulations related with this sector are to be reviewed and updated.
A transparent and easy tax assessment system should be introduced.

President Message

First of all, I express my sincere gratitude to all esteemed members for the trust and confidence shown by electing me as President of the Federation of Electrical Entrepreneurs of Nepal (FEEN). This responsibility is a mandate for the brighter future of the electrical business sector, and I am committed to fulfilling it with dedication and integrity.

Your support and guidance strengthen my resolve to make FEEN a more effective, transparent, and member-centered organization. At this crucial phase of opportunities and challenges in Nepal’s industrial sector, our unity and collective effort will play a decisive role in shaping the future of the electrical business community.

During this tenure, the Federation will act as a strong voice for policy reform, safeguard the rights and interests of member entrepreneurs, and promote a systematic, transparent, and technology-friendly business environment. Enhancing member services, improving technical capacity, expanding digital systems, and strengthening the institutional structure will be our key priorities.

Our shared goal is clear: the prosperity, dignity, and sustainable development of the electrical business sector. I look forward to your continued cooperation and guidance as we move forward together.

To unite all the electrical industrialist, entrepreneurs, producers and traders all over the country in the main stream to protect, promote and develop their professional capabilities within Nepal without any discrimination.
To promote the economic and social development of Electrical Industrialist Entrepreneurs of Nepal while protecting and defending the rights and interests of the electrical business persons of the entire country.
Make effective and significant contribution to the development of open market economy while recognizing the changes taking place in the global arena.
To promote and foster feeling of unity, co-operation and mutual help and to eliminate unhealthy competition and unfair trade practices among the electrical entrepreneurs.
To advise and assist the district/municipal and associate members in technical, non-technical and legal matters.
FEEN act as a supreme representative body of the electrical industrialist and entrepreneur's trade and industry of the country while supporting the national goals of self-reliant and independent national economy.
Foster cooperation with district related national and foreign organizations through network.
To submit suggestion to the government in regard to its formulation, amendment and implementation of all the policies rules and principles related to the electric and electrical industry and business sector.
To reduce dependence on foreign import and to make available of local resources.
To involve itself in the social service activities.
To familiarize Nepalese Electric/ Electrical industrialist and Entrepreneurs in international area through the participation in different program and seminar.

Following are the main services being offered by FEEN

Conducting workshops, interaction program, training and seminars for the enhancement of qualitative development of the Electrical industry and entrepreneurs sector.
Providing expertise service to the electrical Industrialist and entrepreneurs.
Representing the entire electric/electrical community of the country in national and international forums.
Preparing recommendations to assist the government for promoting electrical Sector.
Encouraging participation in national and international conventions, seminars, fairs and exhibitions.
Promoting better industrial relations between and among the entrepreneurs.
Providing business information and research services among the members.
Strengthening its local member associations.
